My name is Taryn Hills. I go by "T" or "Nephilim" depending on who you ask. I am a God given creator, one of which is being mother to 4 beautiful young ladies. I have 3 degrees, an Associates in Business Tech, a Bachelor's in Accounting with a minor in Business Management, and a Master's in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. In addition to my education I also enjoy researching, writing and observing - the things science is made of. This landed me upon my current undertaking and passion, writing.
After many years of writing poetry, even having some published at the age of 12 by being a part of the National Poetry Society, I decided to start writing my first book at 18. I only wrote snippets, that I have since recovered and they were really great, but I stopped working on it because I couldn't figure a direction that wasn't like my favorite authors at the time - Bertrice Small, Anne Rice, Johanna Lindsey, Eric Jerome Dickey, and a few others.
As fate would have it, a few years back my curiosity was piqued watching television and I began to expand on my theories and viewpoints. I began to take note and formulate information. I also began to do some intense research which is ongoing for one book - to come later. As for the other, well I am inviting you all to take a journey with me as I work my way through my first book to be published.
So, grab your favorite hot cup of coffee (latte), as I am prone to do when I like to think, or cozy up under the covers with your favorite glass of Cab or Pinot - also personal favorites, and take a walk with me through my mind and those I am about to write about!
Inside the Mind of Nephilim God
My reasons for writing the current book and novel/saga I am working on are because of my ongoing interest in people and various subjects like archaeology, physiology, anthropology, theology and the unknown. What started off as questions and my own well-postulated theories turned into something that I could share as well as educate and entertain.
So I am embarking on a quest over the next few years to read, explore, posit, and brainstorm about characters, motives, settings and so much more in an effort to develop everything naturally. I am going to take you through my journey in all fairness. I pray that as I indulge you all in the recesses of my mind that you, yourself are ignited to pursue all the things that make you happy in life.
In my efforts, I have met so many people who have sparked inspiration for my characters, for rationals, for places, and experiences that I just need to say thank you if I met you. I welcome you to explore my site and blogs as I continue developing Book 1 first which I will be sharing and then my novel/saga. Maybe just maybe you will find something that will change your life too!
